Hey guys! Today I am gonna suggest y'all some amazing ways to overcome your pigmented/uneven skin tone and regain your clear and youthful complexion again;
- Sun protection- It doesn't matter whether you are inside or outside, wearing sunscreen of high SPF is a must! Nowadays our life revolves around phones and computer screens, due to which it becomes even more important to have a sunscreen with blue light filter. Reapplying after every 2 hours is a must.
- Using skincare with active ingredients- Buying skincare products that include ingredients such as Vitamin-c, kojic acid, niacinamide, salicylic acid, retinol, etc will also help the skin to regain its original glow! Vitamin C and sunscreen together will do wonders! (Note- Don't forget to do a patch test first)
- Using gentle exfoliation- Exfoliating can remove dead skin cells and improve the appearance of pigmentation, but be sure to use gentle products and avoid over-exfoliating, as this can cause damage to your skin.
- Using Apple Cider Vinegar-Apple cider contains acetic acids, which can help exfoliate and lighten the skin. Mix equal quantity of apple cider vinegar and water together and apply it on the affected areas. Do it once or twice a day.
- Milk- Milk is a super nourishing and mildly exfoliating ingredient that is quite beneficial for the skin, which can lighten the skin. Soak a cotton ball in milk and apply it on affected area. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cool water. Do this once a day.
- Saffron- Saffron or kesar is rich in medicinal, antibacterial and pharmacological properties, making it a go-to ingredient to home-based skincare routines. It helps fight acne, pigmentation, and inflammation and treats dark spots. Take clean water in a bowl and sprinkle a few strands of saffron in it. Add 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder and make a paste. Gently apply the paste on your face to clear pigmentation.
